I was a huge fan of Colby Keller.

He’s got a very sticky blog that I can’t seem to stop poking around in. He’s an artist, writer and adult film actor with a size 15 shoe. And, you know how much I love shoes. His blog is called Big Shoe Diaries – which I suggest you enter at your own risk. And I say that only because you’ll be on there for a while – a long while. He’s a great writer and likes to share his love of art, aesthetics, porn, sexuality and of course….FOOD!!! I love a BIG eater and Colby fits right into that category.

What is your favorite dessert?
OMG! Favorite?!?!? As in one being more favored than any other? What a difficult question…I think I might have to say cake. I love a good homemade cake with frosting, especially if that frosting requires several different pots and pans to make and leaves the kitchen quite a mess.
What restaurant would you call your home?
Well, I live in Baltimore and most consistently find myself at Iggies Pizza…they do an amazing thin crust pizza with duck confit, asparagus and caramelized shallots that just sets me off every time I have it. Plus it’s reasonably priced and BYOB and BYOD (as in dogs allowed) and the atmosphere is just great.
What is the strangest or most inspiring thing you’ve ever eaten?
I did undergraduate work in anthropology and fetishize difference in cuisine. That said, I will try anything twice when it comes to food and then I’ll try it again, so strange isn’t really an appropriate question for me. Most inspiring…I’ve had some meals at Woodbury Kitchen in Baltimore that made me touch God.
What was your favorite breakfast cereal as a kid?
Captain Crunch…the kind with Crunchberries!
What is your favorite food to pig-out on after the club?
I actually don’t like to eat late at night. It makes me feel really gross. I have been caught at night eating ice cream while watching movies at 2AM. I love flavors with cherries, pecans and the like…
Juanita Eats Out 
I have been reading Big Shoe Diaries for quite a while. It is addictive. Subject matter changes from one post to the next, and he writes ridiculously well. For all his other pursuits, he ought to be a writer first. He has introduced me to some fascinating art that I might never have discovered for myself. It doesn’t hurt that he is so very handsome. His looks (and porn) drew me into his blog originally, but his intelligence, erudition, and ironic and wry sensibility keep me coming back.
Personally, I prefer his erudite wryness and sensible irony.
I think Colby would be a totally cool friend to have, he seems to be a real sweetheart.
So fun to find this site, hopefully he reads this,
